yesterday's good :D managed to meet half of The Gap at least. dine at red bricks, food & company was good! laughed like never before. was good cause managed to catch up with Pris about her JC life & all.

each & everyone of you is missed very dearly by me! :( i just went to see some old photos of us! i mean really really old photos from 2004 & boy, we all grew! be it in terms of heigth,weight or hairstyle! heh. so many times i question myself, how long can we be such close friends for. i just really pray that we'll remain like that. meaning we can just speak our minds & just be entertained by each other's company.

i really wanted to post our before & after photos, or like the many photos we took in the pool be it at rach's place / keppel bungalow. then, our old blog/websites. that time, was so 'in' haha. then i remembered beks did the website. zac, rach, sk & josco they each had a website of their own. really wondering if it's still around! whatever it is, even though we are busy with whatever you're doing, you guys hold a special place in my heart & will never be forgottened by me!

Dear Heavenly Father,

thank you for this wonderful retreat committee. thank you for seeing each and everyone of us & the campers through the retreat. pray for the younger ones that the work you have planted in them will not stop after retreat but continue to groom & grow them. it has been such a refreshing time to come together as a retreat to praise & worship you through the sessions & games. thank you for teaching us what it means to be in a friendship with you & to be able to come before you laying all our hurts/worries down at the foot of you. Lord, continue to grow us as a cluster.

just watched phantom again on tv :D haha. & i'm back from the retreat. it was so great to see the many younger ones there & was surely a good time of learning & bonding. though sometimes, things may not have went the way we planned.i'm quite sure majority enjoyed themselves!!

here are some shoutouts!

CELLKIDS!
it has been such joy to be able to grow up with so many of you & each of you are so special to me! cant imagine life without anyone of you :( heh. even as we go through our different phases in life, i really want to let you all know that you'll never be forgotten! :D there's just too much memories we share together (be it happy/sad) in these few year of friendship! we've all probably changed quite a bit, be it our physical features or our mentality. whatever it is, if i ever stray away too far, haha remember to scold me & pull me back into the right path! lovelove.

girls <3, we just have to make it a point to meet! either every month/once in two weeks! i need/have to catch up with you! rach & wanz, even though you girls are overseas! we still remember you okay! heh, we're praying here that you girls are fitting in well out there. rahrah! haha, it's been quite difficult to meet up with you. dont worry! you're still precious to me & us! heh, meet up soon! mel & chloe, study hard for your Os okay! :D can come to anyone of us to ask for help if you need! you know that even though i like to bully/scold you, i still love you!

guys <3, haha. all those late night talks are just crazy. cant even recall a tiny bit of what our long conversations were about! still cant believe that you guys cooked the food! was in a state of shock when i heard that two guys went to ntuc to buy the food. thanks for staying up late night talks to plan my bday! :D

those were the highlights of feb. & now finally, i can blog about what happened on 7th march 07. it was my birthday! and i've enjoyed myself to the fullest.

last sunday, 3rd march 07, the cluster celebrated for two people's bday. min sin's and michelle! when they were singing the birthday song, i thought they were to going sing for me also then the cake didnt even come towards me, i tell you i almost cried man! couldnt concentrate in cell. maybe i was thinking they celebrating for those that are over already

then worst thing was
michelle: hey evelyn, when's your birthday?
eve: 7th march why? you leh?
michelle: oh same as me leh!

wah siao. i almost went craaazzzeeee! then i told crystal when we were staying over at ian's place. cos we were going to have a bbq at ian's place on monday that's why the stayover. anyway, there was one surprise at the bbq and at home!

teehee. so paiseh. cause i thought like cellkids forgot to celebrate my birthday! they wished me but like means quite a bit to celebrate with them cos we grew up tog know what i mean? haha. owell. this is how the story goes...

in the afternoon, went out with crystal & ian (serve mates). crystal had to go for church meeting in the evening and ian said he had a party to attend. so we parted about 6plus. reached home close to 7pm. then...

1. pop & claudia was in my living room, i walked in then they "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" i didnt know what to say, i just asked them what you girls doing here haha, then i was thinking maybe after i shower we can go dinner. then i went into my room,

2. i saw my younger's sister mattress messy! then i opened up to find... IAN LAU hiding in there! wth.

3. rahrah & melmel (hiding on my double deck bed) "SURPRISEE!"

4. the guys: zach, sk & wesley (hid in my toilet) "SURPRISEE!"

later, elaine, june, rach lin, adele, juli, gerri & crystal came!

some left, played daidee, mahjong then they went home. felt like shit after they left cos suddenly my house so quiet and empty.

i think i also forgot to mention that my group stayed over from the second day. on normal days after we shower, we would go down to star gaze and ian would sometimes bring his guitar down. the best night was thursday's cos we played sparkles. even though not everyone in the group stayed over. was glad that at least majority did.

oh! & so on the last day, crystal, ian & myself, we went to the market to get food for the bbq at night! while the rest went to st georges to do whatever we have to finish. when we got back, we saw everyone doing some form of work.

cleared the storeroom, sorted out things. and before we know it, it's time to prepare the food & set up the 'pit' for bbq.

oh, i cant recall anything after that day. i think we were fast, we finished most of the work in st georges that's why we have a relax day! we call it bonding time! we went to east coast! :D some cycled and blade. the rest, slacked around, tan, admire nature.

left east coast and we walked to the food place. haha. dont know what it's called. the walking seemed like forever. oh yarh! we celebrated jasmine's and crystal's birthday at macs! yupp! so this is how my group spent our 4th day

on the 3rd day of outreach was valentine's day! in the morning, on our way to the mrt, the girls found out that the guys were missing (cos they were walking behind us)










when they came back with the roses, the girls just smiled. heh. made us all feel special! anyway, when we were to ready to do the strenuous work little did we expect that it was such a slack day. heh. but i think it was good for us cause we are already so tired out by painting angeline's house.

st georges place is a shelter for women/children with abusive husbands. all we had to do there was to clean/wipe the windows (they had many many), sweep the dried/dead leaves and prepare what we need to get for bbq on friday. we even had time for an hour lunch cos i think they were spraying that insecticide thing. and so we started playing at the playground! to revive our childhood!

oh! & on this day, we made friends with melody.

cos it's v. day, we thought maybe we can share some love with the people staying there. we gave them hearts! it's painstakingly sew-ed by everyone in the group!

part of serve program is to do community outreach. past years, they go for mission trips. but last & this year, we do local mission. my group had to paint a 2 room flat in clementi & clean up st georges place. this outreach is a 5days thing.

so 1st two days was spent painting angeline's house. her house was in a totally mess & it was very dirty. from white walls to brownish yellow walls. we were spiltted into two groups. one to paint her room the other the living room. as soon as the people that painted the room is done, they came out to help in the living room/kitchen

then the living room. see that differene! wah! we had a hard time painting the living room.



















some other girls clean the tiles in the kitchen while other were painting. and the same thing. they scrubbed the walls from brown to white! we couldnt finish everything on the 1st day so we had to go back on tuesday. we thought we wouldnt have time to paint the kitchen but we managed to! we did it so quickly! i think only about 4hours. during lunch time, we had to uy take-aways to eat and we ate at the corridor. look!
































it was so tiring, dirty and back-aching. definitely, my group has learnt a whole lot of patience & torlerance through this experience becos angeline isnt exactly a nice person to work with. there was this sense of satisfaction within me. look at the difference. from the time we stepped into her house till the time we left. it's so much fresher & neater!
